Description:
Around ten thousand years ago, human society moved from one of hunting/gathering to one of agriculture. This brought about a radical shift in the requirements and use of water.
Ancient China was one of the first areas to see this change. Water was and still is an invaluable resource, especially when concerning agriculture on a large scale.
The Eternal Well sits to remind us of this past history, constructed in the form of a water bucket, as used for centuries across Asia.
